About the Program


 

The Banking and Insurance Program aims to meet expert and medium-level manager needs of the financial sector, especially those who are informed in banking and insurance area as well as in operation and procedures of money markets. The financial crises that were experienced recently forced obligatory new regulations in the banking and insurance sector. In this sector, which has become stronger and self-sufficient thanks to these regulations, employees who know the fundamental principles and concepts well and who are capable to perform consultancy, auditing and marketing of financial products and services effectively are needed.

Along with economics, finance, management, law, and math courses during the two-year education, the students are also given professional courses in expertise areas needed by the sector, and they are sent to obligatory intern training in the leading institutions of the sector. At the end of this process, students who will easily adapt to the implementations of the finance sector are raised.
For this purpose, in addition to the experienced academicians of Kadir Has University, courses are also given by the managers and experts in the sector. These students are given the chance to graduate with an infrastructure equipped with theoretical and practical knowledge given throughout the education.

Within this frame, the graduates of Banking and Insurance Program are taking their places in the real and finance sector as qualified employees with theoretical and technical infrastructure who are needed by the sector. They are recruited in all establishments in the financial system such as banks, insurance companies and agencies in the first place, in the finance departments of institutions in the real sector as well as in the public sector.

Furthermore, the students of Banking and Insurance Program have the chance to transfer to State and Foundation Universities' Undergraduate Programs at the end of their education through DGS exam to continue their university lives.
